Overview

Random Moment Sampling is a federally accepted cost allocation method for documenting the time spent on activities and allocating it to federal awards. Florida Department of Children and Families utilize four random moment time studies to document the activities of staff performing functions directly related to Adult Protective Investigations (APS), Child Protective Investigations (CPI), Child Dependency Case Management (CBC), and Economic Self-Sufficiency (ESS).
